Is Verstappen right to treat Leclerc and Hamilton title battles differently?

Max Verstappen has revealed that his title battle with Charles Leclerc this season is 'more respectful' than last year's rivalry with Lewis Hamilton. The tension of the Dutchman's contest with Hamilton last season boiled over on a number of occasions last season both on and off the track.

But whereas that battle saw Verstappen go up against a driver from a different generation, both he and Leclerc are of the same age and have grown up racing alongside one another.

This has led to a more respectful contest and one that Verstappen has claimed to have enjoyed more.

There is no question that the Red Bull driver has treated this year's competition differently, but is he right to do so?
