Sergio Perez has targetted future race wins after trailing Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen in a one-two result at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
Verstappen ran out a comfortable winner to end a perfect weekend after taking the point for the fastest lap in the race in addition to his sprint victory on Saturday.
In the second Red Bull, Perez was able to hold off the advances of Charles Leclerc before the championship leader made a rare mistake and spun into a barrier.
It was Red Bull's first one-two since Malaysia in 2016 and speaking on the podium after the race, Perez said: "It was really intense since halfway through the race.
"We had it all under control and then they started chasing us after the stop, and then it was a fight, trying to warm up the tyres.
"The most important thing today was not making mistakes. With these conditions, it was so tricky out there. To get a one-two is a great result for the team.
"We've been unlucky, the start has been so difficult for us, so it's great to see everyone in the team smiling today."
Perez dropped five points behind Verstappen in the drivers' standings with the result and sits third after the first four races.
Asked if it is possible for him to win races this season, he added: "That's the target.
"But today it's a great day for the team. There are still a few bits that we need to make better, but I'm very happy for Max and his win."
