Aston Martin launch: First images of "real" 2022 car

Aston Martin has become the third F1 team to launch its 2022 car albeit declaring the AMR22 to be "real".

Haas unveiled the VF-22 on February 4 although via renders and with its images predominantly related to the livery rather than showing its hand given the new aerodynamic regulations.

Red Bull followed suit on February 9 to great fanfare but again its RB18 was more of a show car.

Team principal Christian Horner made clear the car that will hit the track on March 18 in first practice for the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix will be vastly different.

As for Aston Martin, the team declared before its launch it would be "unveiling our real race car".
