Dutch Grand Prix: Starting grid with penalties applied

The Dutch Grand Prix has thrown up an appetising front row as home hero Max Verstappen starts on pole, with his main F1 title rival Lewis Hamilton alongside him.

Ideally, Red Bull would have wanted Sergio Perez to be in the mix towards the front of the grid to help out with strategy options in the battle with Mercedes given Valtteri Bottas starts third.

Perez, however, will now start from the pit lane as the team has opted to take a raft of engine penalties by swapping out the entire PU after the Mexican failed to escape Q1, only qualifying 16th.

Notably, Red Bull has fitted an energy store that is of a different specification to the one previously used, and under the regulations, this requires a pit lane start.

Perez will be joined in the pit lane by Williams' Nicholas Latifi after the Canadian's crash in qualifying.

While a new gearbox has been fitted, which has incurred a five-place penalty, the team has also fitted a new front wing/nose assembly.

As with Perez and the ES, this is of a different specification to the one previously used and so means a start from the pit lane for Latifi.

Here is your grid for today's 72-lap race...
