Belgian Grand Prix: Starting grid with penalties applied

Lando Norris, Valtteri Bottas and Lance Stroll all serve five-place grid penalties for the Belgian Grand Prix which means a shake-up following qualifying.

The penalties for Mercedes driver Bottas and Aston Martin's Stroll are a legacy from the roles they played in the first-corner carnage that unfolded at the final race before the summer break in Hungary.

Bottas was the instigator of the mélee that saw him run into the back of Norris in his McLaren, who in turn shunted into Red Bull's Max Verstappen.

Like Bottas, Stroll also carried too much speed into turn one at the Hungaroring and collected Ferrari's Charles Leclerc in the process.

Both incidents were clear cut for the stewards, with five-place penalties awarded.

Norris, meanwhile, has collected his penalty for taking a new gearbox following his smash in treacherous conditions in the early part of Q3 at Spa-Francorchamps.

There is one other penalty to mention, with Kimi Raikkonen starting from the pitlane after Alfa Romeo opted to fit a new rear-wing assembly.

Here is your starting grid for today's race...
