Should F1 pursue the sprint race weekend?

The jury appears to be out on F1's new sprint format weekend following the past two days of action during the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Qualifying was moved to a primetime Friday evening slot, which then set the grid for the one-third distance, 100-kilometre race that followed on Saturday afternoon.

F1's managing director motorsports Ross Brawn said he would "buy a ticket every day" for what he witnessed.

The drivers and teams were a little more cautious with their comments, but what do you the fans think? Brawn has said he will listen to the comments of those that really matter.

There are two more sprint format trials to take place at the Italian Grand Prix and a yet-to-be-named flyaway event later in the year.

If there is support then it will be adopted at at least six events next season.

So let F1 know your thoughts and take part in the GPFans poll below.

Should F1 continue with its sprint format in the future?
