TEN drivers under investigation for late Austrian GP infringements

Ten drivers have been summoned to the stewards for late-race infringements at the Austrian Grand Prix.

George Russell has been summoned for allegedly "moving under braking" in his defence over 11th position with Kimi Raikkonen.

Russell was looking to score his first points for the team, only for Fernando Alonso to demote the Williams driver outside the top 10 with three laps remaining.

Raikkonen was next in line to get past the Briton, with Russell being summoned over his defence of 11th place as the Alfa Romeo looked for a way past into turn four on the penultimate lap.

The Finn is also under investigation for his final lap incident with Sebastian Vettel, with Raikkonen being summoned for causing a collision with the Aston Martin driver on the exit of turn four.

With double-waved yellows on the final lap for the crash, Pierre Gasly, Daniel Ricciardo, Antonio Giovinazzi, Nicholas Latifi, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, Sergio Perez and Nikita Mazepin are all under investigation for failing to respect the flags.

Depending on the verdicts, Williams could yet score points for the first time since the German Grand Prix in 2019.
