Pierre Gasly has insisted he did not care that Charles Leclerc escaped punishment for their lap one collision that forced the AlphaTauri driver out of the Styrian Grand Prix.
Following an initial bump between the duo through turn one, the Frenchman was then ahead on the drag up to turn three when Leclerc's front wing clipped the rear-left tyre of the AT02, leading to an immediate puncture.
Gasly then went back through the field before being tagged by Alfa Romeo's Antonio Giovinazzi and Williams' Nicholas Latifi at turn three before limping back to the pits with left-rear suspension damage.
"I did one corner on four tyres and then the rest of the lap I was either on three or even two," Gasly told Sky Sports F1.
"There was small contact with Charles and then the tyre blew off and that was it. It is frustrating."
Leclerc escaped punishment for the contact despite seemingly veering towards Gasly's car and initiating the contact, before going on to claim F1's fan-voted driver of the day accolade after recovering to finish seventh.
On whether he believed the Ferrari driver should have been handed a penalty, Gasly replied: "Honestly, I don't know. I don't really care about that because our race was over already so it is not going to change anything whether there is a penalty or not.
"Obviously very disappointing because the car was good all weekend. We had a great quali and I think there was a good opportunity to score some big points so yeah, just extremely disappointed not to be a part of this race."
