Williams can "start fresh" at Monaco - Latifi

Nicholas Latifi is looking forward to "starting fresh" at Monaco this weekend after a weekend of struggle with his Williams in Spain.

The Canadian had suggested he was dealing with overhanging issues with his FW43B from Portugal at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on his way to finishing 16th after being out-qualified by Mick Schumacher for Haas.

With a weekend off between Spain and F1's return to Monaco this week, Latifi revealed the team could find no issue during its post-race evaluation and was expecting the car to feel different around the streets of the Principality.

"In our analysis, we haven't been able to pinpoint anything that was abnormal or anything like that," said Latifi.

"Obviously, we have had a full check-over of everything because we have had time since the last race with a week and a half off.

"It has been checked over and gone through so we are just starting fresh again this weekend.

"This and [the next race in Azerbaijan] are street circuits so the car will probably feel quite a bit different anyway compared to the other ones so we can start fresh coming into this one."
