Daniel Ricciardo has been passed fit following a heavy shunt during the second practice session at the Red Bull Ring.
After 15 minutes of FP2 ahead of Sunday's Styrian Grand Prix, Ricciardo lost control of his Renault at turn nine after carrying too much speed into the right-hander.
Under braking, the Australian then careered backwards across a gravel trap, with the rear wing taking the brunt of the impact into a tyre barrier, with additional damage to the left sidepod and front wing.
After Ricciardo emerged from the car, he then visibly limped round to inspect it before heading off to the medical centre for a routine inspection.
Although Ricciardo could be seen limping through the paddock following a check-up, Renault stated that the "medical delegate has declared him fit".
