Mark Webber believes the 2020 Formula 1 season is 'set-up' for Lewis Hamilton to equal Michael Schumacher's tally of seven world championships.
The Mercedes driver moved to within touching distance of the German's record by taking a sixth world title last year - his fifth in six seasons.
Asked by the F1 Nation podcast, 'who will be champion at the end of the season', Webber had no hesitation in saying: "I think it's Lewis, it is set up for him.
The Australian added: "For him, I think it is going to be very, very special."
The 2020 season has been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with the first race now scheduled to take place at the Red Bull Ring in Austria on July 5.
With limited preparation, the Australian driver-turned-pundit believes Hamilton is best suited to adapt to the new normal.
"He's just a guy who can get on with it at very, very short notice," he said. "No mileage disrupted programme. This is a guy who doesn't need to hit tennis balls."
