Williams has endured a tough time on track over the past few years, and it was announced this week the team is up for sale, but they at least cannot wait to get the show on the road again.
Silverstone to "provide the perfect setting for a great show"
It was touch and go whether Silverstone would host races but the UK government has confirmed there will be no 14-day quarantine period applied to elite sports stars arriving into the country, allowing back-to-back events in August.
We are delighted to share this announcement confirming two consecutive Grand Prix's are to take place at Silverstone. Although these will be closed events we are confident that our legendary circuit will provide the perfect setting for a great show for everyone watching at home. https://t.co/vd4tzhjQlC

Safety is paramount
A reminder from Racing Point team principal Otmar Szafnauer of the over-riding message that needs to be adhered to.
"First and foremost, on a personal level and on behalf of the team, I applaud the work that has been done by all stakeholders over the past three months to get us back racing. Safety is paramount and weโre all treating our return to the racetrack responsibly."
