Charles Leclerc has urged the Formula 1 teams to trust the FIA over its handling of the investigation into Ferrari's 2019 power unit.
Leclerc has said he is looking to the future and that, for him, the matter has been put to bed.
"I fully trust my team, that's for sure," Leclerc told Motorsport.com. "I trust the FIA for making sure everything was OK. For me, it's done. I look to the future."
The seven teams not running under Ferrari power had threatened to protest the undisclosed settlement reached between Ferrari and the FIA, but Leclerc reiterated that teams should believe in the FIA.
"They should trust the FIA for doing their work," continued Leclerc. "I think it's completely understandable that they don't explain absolutely everything because there is a lot of work also for us on all the parts.
"If you make all of this public, then you make all the work that the team has done public. This is, for me, understandable."
The Ferrari factory in Maranello remains inactive after the Italian authorities imposed strict self-isolation guidelines to cope with the continuing coronavirus pandemic.
