The Renault R.S.20 launch will involve interviews with key personnel, drivers and even members of the Renault Sport Academy and Renault Vitality Esports team, but there will be no can and a testing livery will only be teased.
Things you expect at a Formula One launch. Number one - a car.
Renault have gone down a different road to this however and, while conducting the regular press sessions ahead of the launch of the R.S.20, digital images will be released after concluding the press sessions of both the car and drivers.
The Renault press release reads, "Speaking at the press conference will be Team Principal Cyril Abiteboul, Executive Director Marcin Budkowski, Chassis and Engine Technical Directors Pat Fry and Rémi Taffin, Renault Sport Racing Special Advisor and four-time World Champion Alain Prost, Renault Sport Academy Director Mia Sharizman, plus race drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Esteban Ocon.
"The team will look forward to the season ahead and glimpses of the team’s 2020 challenger, the R.S.20, in its pre-season testing livery will be teased to media at the close of the presentation.
"Also in attendance for media questions will be Renault Sport Academy drivers and members of Renault Vitality Esports."
Also confirmed was the fact that there will be no live stream from the event with social media posts being used to keep fans up to date with proceedings on Wednesday February 12.
