Esteban Ocon enjoyed his first action behind the wheel of a Renault in his new contract following the post-season testing session in Abu Dhabi alongside various other drivers.
Following the conclusion of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday, Ocon officially became an active driver for the French side after it was previously announced that he would be replacing Nico Hulkenberg, who would be leaving F1 after nine years.
He took charge of the RS19 car, with the focus of testing mainly on the new tyre compounds for 2020.
Ocon started his career as a junior driver for Mercedes, and acted as a reserve driver for the Silver Arrows this campaign. However, that partnership has now been severed after Renault swopped in to win his services.
