Lewis Hamilton has equalled Michael Schumacher's record of having lead in the most grands prix ever, following his spell in front in Singapore.
Hamilton led for a short period following Charles Leclerc choosing to pit midway through the race, and his time in the lead moved him onto a special mark held exclusively by the legendary German for a number of years.
The five-time world champion has now been in front during 142 races in his F1 career, the same as Schumacher.
With six races to go in the season after today, it is all but certain that Hamilton will break the record before the end of the 2019 season.
