Italian Grand Prix: Starting grid with penalties applied

Charles Leclerc took pole position for the Italian Grand Prix, with the lower half of the Monza grid taking on a distinctly different look to the qualifying result.

Max Verstappen, Lando Norris and Pierre Gasly came into the weekend in the knowledge they would start at the back of the grid due to engine penalties.

Further penalties were confirmed on race morning, with Sergio Perez and Kimi Raikkonen each taking a new engine.

The Alfa Romeo driver, who also has a new gearbox after his Q3 crash, starts from the pit lane, as his new engine is of a different specification, while Perez drops to the back of the grid.
