Lewis Hamilton got up close and personal with MotoGP newcomers Yamaha SRT at the Qatar GP, as well as two-wheel legend Valentino Rossi. Formula 1 world champion Hamilton was in Doha with Mercedes' partners Petronas, who are also title sponsor of SRT.

Hamilton's interest in two wheels has come to the fore once again recently, amid reports that he could be set for a ride swap with seven-time premier-class world champion Rossi at the end of the year.

The five-time world champion on four wheels tested World Superbike machinery late last year and says two-wheeled action holds more passion for him than car racing.

The MotoGP season is kicking off this weekend in Qatar, with Hamilton on hand to take it in.

As you'd expect, the superstar world champion had some pretty epic access, and he let us behind the scenes for Saturday's practice and qualifying action.

He's been linked with a #MotoGP test later this year.
