Leclerc explains Ferrari qualifying problem at Hockenheim

Charles Leclerc explained that he and Sebastian Vettel were affected by different issues as Ferrari's qualifying for the German grand Prix fell to pieces.

Vettel will start his home race in last after he was unable to set a time in Q1 due to an airflow problem with his SF90's turbo system.

Fastest in FP2, FP3 and Q1, Leclerc looked favourite for pole but he to was halted at the start of Q3 and will start 10th.

He told Sky Sports: "I have no idea if it was the same problem as Sebastian. On my side, it was a fuel system problem.

"It's a shame, but we'll be trying to understand what happened to try and not reproduce it.

"It's a difficult day for the team but I hope it'll be a positive day tomorrow.

"I felt great in the car and the car felt great, all weekend. So it's a shame it ends up like this."
