LIVE! F1 Preseason Testing Day One

It's here! Formula 1 returns in earnest as preseason gets under way at the Circuit de Catalunya. Day one will see nine of the 10 teams in action, with Williams set to be absent from the track as work continues on getting the FW42 ready for the year ahead.

The storylines that will shape the months to come will start to be written in Barcelona, while we'll be forming many predictions as a result of the next two weeks.

GPFans has Rob Watts in position at the track to bring you on-site analysis and more exclusive access.

Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull are all starting 2019 in confident mood, with their cars having already been shaken down in the build-up to testing.

The likes of Renault, Haas, Toro Rosso and Alfa Romeo have also got their initial checks out the way.

Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen will be in action throughout Monday, with Lewis Hamilton and Daniel Ricciardo joining the action after lunch, the latter of course taking part for Renault after his high-profile switch from Red Bull.
