Ferrari raised hopes of a thrilling qualifying battle with Mercedes at the British Grand Prix, overturning the Silver Arrows' Friday strength to finish FP3 at the top of the timesheets.
Red Bull were also within two tenths to suggest the battle could be fraught at the front, with Pierre Gasly topping Max Verstappen once again, following up similarly impressive Friday sessions.
Teams were largely limited to just half an hour's running by light rain at Silverstone, but it did little to part the wafer-thin midfield battle – places 8 to 18 were split by just half a second.
