Mercedes have revealed the team's challenger for the 2019 Formula 1 season, the W10. The Silver Arrows will hope their most recent car can follow in the tyre prints of its five previous predecessors, which have secured double glory in the drivers' and constructors' championships.
Although Mercedes teased fans that a radically new look may be utilised on the 2019 car, the camouflaged look that we have been fed does not appear to be present.
A change is at hand, however, with detailing on the engine cover of Mercedes' three-pointed star a new feature, with tweaked fairings elsewhere on the bodywork.
With new regulations in play for 2019, the Silver Arrows' dominance of F1 may be under renewed threat.
"The 2019 season will be a new challenge for all of us," said Toto Wolff.
"The regulations have changed quite substantially. We have to start from scratch, we need to prove ourselves again - against our own expectations and against our competitors.
"We start the season with zero points, so we're taking nothing for granted and there's absolutely no feeling of entitlement to be at the front.
"In fact, with the regulation change for the new season, every team can have a shot at the title and we're seeing all of them as a potential threat."
Mercedes will run the W10 at Silverstone in a shakedown on Wednesday before the car takes to the track in Barcelona next week for the start of pre-season testing.
