Ferrari say they will take new evidence to a hearing with the FIA which will "overwhelmingly" demonstrate that Sebastian Vettel did not break regulations during the Canadian Grand Prix. Vettel took a five-second penalty and Montreal, ultimately costing him victory.
Vettel was punished for re-joining the track in an unsafe manner ahead of Lewis Hamilton, who went on to inherit the win in Canada.
Having abandoned an appeal process, Ferrari will face the stewards again in France, where they will make a case for the matter to be reconsidered.
Sporting director Laurent Mekies said: "I think the first thing that I would like to underline is that we very much respect the work of the stewards.
"We know that it's a very, very difficult job to take. It's a complex world, complex races, and therefore we are fully supportive of what they are trying to achieve.
