Fans who were disappointed by the lack of Ferrari and Mercedes in Formula 1's Netflix series 'Drive to Survive' might be pleased by plans for a second series following the 2019 season, with the two biggest teams on the grid reportedly signed up to participate this time.
Explaining Mercedes' decision to opt out, Toto Wolff said last year: "The main reason was that I felt it was a big distraction, and could potentially be a distraction, especially also because our main competitor was not doing it."
The series was well-received by fans new and old alike, with social media wash with new fans claiming the programme had drawn them in.
Adding the two biggest teams on the grid will likely bolster viewing figures even further.
Ferrari team boss Mattia Binotto recently said the Scuderia were considering taking part in the second series, for which filming has already begun at races this year.
