Fresh fan footage of Sergio Perez's near miss with a pair of marshals during the Monaco Grand Prix has emerged, showing just how close the Racing Point driver came to being involved in a horrific incident during a safety car period in Sunday's race.
The track was being cleared after an incident for Charles Leclerc, with Perez pitting seemingly catching out the two marshals.
On-board footage from Perez's car shows how close he came to hitting either of the marshals as they sprinted across the track.
Taking to team radio Perez said: "What was wrong with those marshals? I nearly killed him."
Footage from above the pit straight of the Circuit de Monaco catches the incident in full, showing one marshal being floored by the downforce spilling off Perez's car.
Hier nog even de video vanaf boven van het moment dat Perez bijna de marshalls aanrijdt. De beste marshalls ter wereld, maar die maakten bijna een fataal foutje... 😶 #MonacoGPpic.twitter.com/yzS34qv1Lr
