Hopes have been raised of the Monaco Grand Prix not becoming a Mercedes-dominated procession, with Red Bull team principal Christian Horner suggesting that Sunday's race could be mixed up by inclement weather. According to Horner, the Sunday forecast "looks pretty horrible".
The last two Monaco GPs have passed without interruption from the skies, although the 2016 race was made all the more thrilling in a wet start.
On that occasion, Red Bull threw away a victory for Daniel Ricciardo, pitting the Australian with no tyres ready to service his car with, letting Lewis Hamilton sneak in to take victory.
Hamilton leads the standings after Mercedes have taken one-two finishes in all five races this season.
