The Monaco Grand Prix could be interrupted by rain, with heavy shows forecast ahead of the race, and race control anticipating an 80 per cent chance of intervention from the skies while the grand prix is under way on Sunday.
With Mercedes locking out the front row, and Charles Leclerc marooned in 15th on the grid, home fans will have been doing their rain dances on Saturday night.
Perhaps they worked, with a strong chance that strategy will be thrown out the window come the race.
