Lewis Hamilton delivered a ominous and dominant performance in the final practice session for the Spanish Grand Prix, clocking half a second quicker than team-mate Valtteri Bottas and the Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel ahead of the pole position fight.
Bottas' running was hampered by an innocuous spin into the gravel trap at Turn 5, which beached his Mercedes.
However, it appears Ferrari are well off the pace, especially in the final sector, where Hamilton gained half a second alone on Vettel.
Haas finished fifth and sixth, ahead of Red Bull to show that they may have graduated beyond even 'Best of the Rest' status, although Max Verstappen's top lap was compromised by traffic.
