Bottas angry with 'wingman' tag
The Hungarian Grand Prix was a positive one for Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes as they took first place, but once again Valtteri Bottas found himself suffering from bad luck as he collided with Sebastian Vettel to surrender a podium place. He also took offence to his boss, Toto Wolff, calling him a "wingman".
Mercedes started the race in Budapest on the front row of the grid in P1 and P2 through Hamilton and Bottas, with the former going on to win and the latter suffering towards the end which resulted in Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen swooping in to take his podium place.
Following the race conclusion, Wolff expressed regret that Bottas could not share the glory with the rest of the Mercedes team, but did end up calling him a "wingman" to Hamilton.
"It feels a little bit bittersweet, I'm really happy for Lewis I just feel sad for Valtteri, he deserved P2 because he was such a sensational wing man - that would've been nice," Wolff told Sky Sports.

Bottas, clearly downbeat at the result, said it "hurts" that he was called a wingman by his team principal.
"First of all, wingman hurts, I don't see any positive in this race," Bottas also told Sky Sports.
"We wanted a better result, we thought we should have been able to do the one-stop.
"We had to cover Kimi and still 20 laps to the end we thought we could control the pace, but the rear tyres started to die. I tried to defend as aggressive as I could but just ended up being a mess in the end with a broken wing.
"I think we need to speak after this race. We're over halfway of the year and the points gap is big so the team will decide [on team orders] at some point."
