F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weather forecast - latest from Yas Marina Circuit

Formula 1 heads to the Yas Marina Circuit this weekend for the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Whilst Max Verstappen wrapped up the drivers' championship at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the constructors' battle is set to go down to the wire in Abu Dhabi with both McLaren and Ferrari still in contention for glory heading into the season finale.

Ferrari are now only 21 points behind McLaren in the standings, however after a disastrous qualifying session for the team the title could be a tough feat.

Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri locked-out the front row for the Abu Dhabi GP, whilst Charles Leclerc will start P20 following a Q2 exit and 10-second grid penalty.

This weekend's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will also mark Lewis Hamilton's last race with Mercedes ahead of his move to Ferrari, making it an even more exciting occasion.

Sunday, December 8: Race

Sunday is set to be the warmest day of the weekend, with temperatures expected to reach 30 degrees Celsius, although dropping to around 27 degrees Celsius for lights out at 5pm.

Wind gusts of around 17mph could hamper the drivers' ability to find certain braking points around the circuit, but the race is expected to be a dry one, with less than a five per cent chance of rain predicted.
