F1 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix weather forecast - latest today as conditions set to cause havoc

The world of Formula 1 is back in the United States this weekend for the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix, as the pinnacle of motorsport returns to the iconic city to kickstart the final triple-header of the year.

With just three rounds left in the season, the championship battle could be concluded this weekend, with Red Bull star Max Verstappen knowing that he can lift a fourth consecutive championship if he betters the result of rival Lando Norris.

While Norris himself may not have lost sight of the title, his team will be hoping that both he and team-mate Oscar Piastri can secure maximum points, with McLaren within touching distance of their first constructors' championship since 1998.

After claiming two of the three victories during the previous triple-header, Ferrari have crept up behind the papaya outfit, just 36 points behind them after leapfrogging reigning champions Red Bull.

With the show-stopping night race at the iconic Vegas Strip in Clark County returning for a second year, the cool temperatures look set to play havoc with tyre performance once again this time around, with former F1 star Logan Sargeant telling GPFans that the cold temperatures in Vegas made it very hard for the cars to find grip last year.

Las Vegas Grand Prix weather forecast

Saturday November 23/Sunday November 24: Race

The Las Vegas Grand Prix starts at 10 pm local time in Las Vegas on Saturday, November 23, although in many parts of the world, the race will be on Sunday, November 24 due to time differences.

For the race, there is a zero per cent chance of rain throughout, although the late start does mean that temperatures will continue to be very cool, just as they have been throughout the weekend so far.

As the lights go out, forecasts suggest temperatures will be at 15 degrees Celsius, with this dropping steadily throughout the race.

There will be a gentle breeze for drivers to contend with, too, but nothing that they should not be able to handle.
