Here's what the weather forecast looks like during the 2024 Austrian Grand Prix weekend in Spielberg.

The Red Bull Ring plays host to the 11th round of the 2024 season from June 28-30. This marks the second race of the European triple-header following Barcelona and precedes the historic British Grand Prix at Silverstone next week.

The Austrian Grand Prix also welcomes the third Sprint of the season following China and Miami, with Austin, Brazil, and Qatar remaining on the schedule to host the 100km race this year.

Here's a breakdown of the latest forecast for the three days of the race weekend:

Friday, June 28: FP1 and Sprint Qualifying

Despite rain forecasts with around a 33-40% chance, the solitary practice session and Sprint qualifying remained completely dry, with high temperatures hovering around 27 degrees Celsius.

Saturday, June 29: Sprint and Qualifying

Both Saturday's 100km sprint race and qualifying were dry affairs, mirroring Friday's lack of rain. Highs reached 30 degrees Celsius, dropping to 15 degrees overnight.

Sunday, June 30: Race

Expect similar weather for the race today, with no rain forecast. The temperature will reach a high of 29 degrees Celsius and drop to a low of 15 degrees Celsius.

Humidity will be a factor with a reading of 41%, and light winds are expected to blow from the south west.
