Here's what the weather forecast looks like during the 2024 Canadian Grand Prix weekend in Montreal.

Formula 1's last outing in Monaco was a historic one, as Charles Leclerc finally claimed an emotional, long-awaited victory in front of his home crowd, becoming the first Monegasque driver to stand atop the podium in Monaco in the F1 world championship era.

Another historic moment occurred on the iconic streets of Monte Carlo, as the top 10 finished in the same order they started for the first time in F1.

The championship now heads across the Atlantic to Canada this weekend for the ninth round of the 2024 season, with Red Bull's Max Verstappen leading the drivers' standings by 31 points over Leclerc.

Here's a breakdown of the latest forecast for the three days of the race weekend:

Friday, June 7: FP1 & FP2

Following a rain-soaked FP1, there were wet/dry conditions during the second practice run, with temperatures hovering around 22 degrees Celsius (71.6 degrees Fahrenheit) throughout the day.

Saturday, June 8: FP3 & Qualifying

The final practice run was completely dry after rain impacted FP1 and FP2. However, there were spits of rain during the all-important qualifying session.

The temperature was 14 degrees at night and 20 degrees during the day, with a light wind coming from the west.

Sunday, June 9: Race

The opening laps were a slippery affair, with rain drenching the track. All drivers, except for those from Haas who opted for full wets, began on intermediate tyres.

However, just as the track began to show signs of drying, the skies opened up again on Lap 28 under safety car, but no more rain is expected in the next 20 minutes.

It is fairly pleasant temperature-wise, with an expected high of around 20 degrees Celsius (or 68 degrees Fahrenheit).
