FIA announce big update on 'Horner Red Bull accuser complaint'

The FIA have broken their silence following reports that the Red Bull employee who accused Christian Horner of 'inappropriate behaviour' has made a complaint to F1's governing body.

Horner was initially under an internal investigation by Red Bull following the original accusation, but was later cleared following an independent hearing.

The Red Bull team principal continues to deny all the allegations that have been made against him.

But the scandal that has rocked Red Bull in the early stages of the 2024 F1 season continues to rumble on having broken before the team even launched their new RB20 car ahead of pre-season testing back in February.

The saga has even rocked the race team with world champion Max Verstappen admitting he could leave if a satisfactory outcome is not reached, while the futures of Horner, Verstappen's long time ally Helmut Marko and aero guru Adrian Newey have also come under question.

Horner's female accuser has since been suspended by the team while on full pay and the BBC reported on Saturday how she has now taken her case to the FIA ethics committee.

FIA break silence amid Horner Red Bull scandal

GPFans have contacted Red Bull in regards to the reported complaint but now the FIA have responded with an update amid the ongoing saga, by pledging strict confidentiality processes were in place.

In a statement released on Sunday they said: “At the FIA, enquiries and complaints are received and managed by the Compliance Officer, and the Ethics Committee where appropriate. Both bodies operate autonomously, guaranteeing strict confidentiality throughout the process.

"As a consequence, and in general, we are unable to confirm the receipt of any specific complaint and it is unlikely that we will be able to provide further comment on the complaints that we may receive from any parties.”

How on this earth when Christian was exonerated of all charges can this which hunt go on???? It seems to be a concocted attempt to remove him so that the new management can put their own puppet in his place. Not a chance in high hell. He's been setup, cleared END OF STORY!!!!!

A lot is yet to be made public because of the lack of transparency shown by Red Bull, a fact we do know is Horner made a 700,000e offer, which was topped up to 1,000,000e by Red Bull to the woman who made the complaint, makes people wonder why an offer was made if there was no wrong doing.

I better not name her here for obvious reasons, but the fact she has changed her lawyers & is appealing because she was accused of dishonesty shows she feels wronged, in more way's than one.

At this point nobody knows exactly what has happened because of the lack of transparency, with Ford & Honda asking for clarification & an appeal pending the truth will no doubt come out, eventually.

How? Because the 'official' body (KC) that 'absolved' Horner was independent, which is not impartial and certainly not neutral. RB hedged their bets instead of hanging Horner to dry for conduct unbecoming, and it may still bite them in the ass.

This saga needs to end and only one man can do this, that's Christian Horner. You put yourself in this position so guess only you can end this. A complaint would not have happened if you hadn't done something. There is always no smoke without fire. All CH is doing is longing out the inevitable. Just resign & keep your self respect. One mistake doesnt make you a bad man but it happens and time is a great healer. You will come again CH🤔.
