F1 Results Today: Belgian Grand Prix Practice Times

Rain came down heavily during FP1 at the Belgian Grand Prix, leaving drivers setting lap times of over two minutes as they tiptoed round on wet and intermediate tyres.

Some drivers didn't even set a single time – including Logan Sargeant, although that was due to him crashing at Les Combes – in the only practice session of the weekend.

Officials decided early that the times set in practice would not set the grid if qualifying can't be held, with the order to be set by championship points instead.

Max Verstappen was one of the drivers who didn't set a time on Friday afternoon, while his team-mate Sergio Perez set the fifth fastest time behind the Ferraris and McLarens.
