Ferrari made the comments whilst remembering former Scuderia driver Alboreto, 20 years on from the Italian's death in an LMP1 test crash at the Lausitzring.
When asked if he could see anything reminiscent of Alboreto in the current drivers, Ferrari said: "Just like Michele, Carlos and Charles have already shown that they can be quick whatever the conditions and on any circuit.
"Indeed, just last weekend at Imola they proved that to be the case! In addition, their performance level is very consistent, another quality they share with the Italian driver."
Alboreto was involved in one of Ferrari's proudest F1 moments when sealing a one-two with Gerhard Berger at the Italian Grand Prix in 1988 just weeks after the passing of Enzo Ferrari.
"That Italian Grand Prix was one of the few where I wasn’t present at the track with the team and I was watching it on television," Ferrari added.
"At what was such a sad time, it was a wonderful gift from him and Gerhard being able to see them on the top two steps of the podium."
