Formula 2's feature race at the Belgian Grand Prix was cancelled after a huge crash involving Juan Manuel Correa and Anthoine Hubert.
The pair collided after going through Eau Rouge and Raidillon, causing significant damage to both cars.
A number of other drivers were caught up in the incident but escaped unharmed.
A fleet of ambulances were dispatched to the scene of the incident and the race was soon cancelled, while television footage did not air replays of the crash or footage of the scene.
The FIA later confirmed that Hubert died as a result of the injuries sustained in the incident.
