Austrian Grand Prix Weather Forecast: Sweltering in Spielberg

After track temperatures of over 50 degrees Celsius at the French Grand Prix there will be no let-up this week at the Austrian Grand Prix, with the mercury set to soar once again at the Red Bull Ring.

With a heatwave passing through much of Europe, the Styrian hills will be alive with the sound of sun protection this week.

Similarly scorching conditions last year hampered Mercedes to such an extent that neither Lewis Hamilton or Valtteri Bottas finished the race.

With the Silver Arrows chasing a record-equalling 11th race win on the bounce, they might be wary of the weekend ahead.
