Don't worry Seb, you're only saying what we're all already thinking. The Ferrari man beat Lewis Hamilton to pole position for the Canadian Grand Prix on Saturday, but was perhaps keen to boost his rival's ego, expressing admiration for Hamilton's looks with a slip of the tongue.
Vettel secured his first pole position of 2019 at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, edging out Hamilton by two tenths of a second.
With adrenaline still pumping through Vettel, we perhaps learned more than we bargained for when he was discussing his opponent's Canada record…
Discussing the final moments of Q3, Vettel said: "The car was shouting 'keep going, keep going!' and yeah, really enjoyed it. I wasn't quite sure if Lewis is improving. Normally he's pretty handsome or pretty good around here…"
As grins stretched out across the table and Hamilton grinned "Thanks!" Vettel tried to back out, before doubling down.
"Pretty handy is what I wanted to say, but there you go, handsome as well. Look at him!"
